2015 Ottawa Brain Bee

The 2016 Ottawa Brain Bee was held on Saturday, April30th, in the River Building at Carleton University. The event was open to Ottawa region high school students from grade 9-12 who were 18 years of age or under. Registration was free, and coaching sessions were held on the three weekends prior to the event.

Congratulations to the winner of the 2016 Brain Bee: Ling Yang of Colonel By High School! Ling won a paid internship in the Abizaid lab at Carleton University and represented Ottawa at the Canadian National Championships in Hamilton, and took 3rd place (and $500 in cash) in a very tight competition!
