Emma Rees’s Brain Bee journey began with winning the 2025 Ottawa Brain Bee and led to her becoming the CIHR 2025 Brain Bee Champion. This summer, it took her all the way to the FENS Forum in Barcelona, and she has now written about the experience in an article for Brain Canada!
Emma attended Europe’s largest neuroscience conference through the International Brain Bee’s NextGen program. In her article, she reflects on how meeting fellow champions from around the world and seeing researchers work together changed her view of what a career in neuroscience can be.
